Brittainy is a group practice owner who decided to start up a virtual assistant company after being burned by several billing companies. She founded Tidemark VA Services under the premise that providers want to know that billers care. Providers want to know that billers are doing the hard part of the job that the providers either don't want to do, don't have time to do, or don't know how to do. Brittainy has taught her staff to know how to bypass the representatives on the phone whose only goal is to meet a quota of phone calls per day. She has taught her staff to leave no stone unturned and exhaust every avenue to reconcile insurance aging and patient aging.
Brittainy also educates you, the provider on the most common things that disrupt the cashflow of your cashflow in your practice and what you need to do to correct it.
Brittainy has successfully grown her company to a staff of 25, but has still been able to maintain the balance of treating you like you're a person rather than a number.
With 15 years experience in the mental health industry and mental health billing, Brittainy has helped community centers and practices pass insurance audits, served as a consultant to several practices so that they may streamline their processeses to create a healthy practice and happy, productive staff, and has served as a consultant and partner to two software/EHR vendors.
She is on a path to disrupt the industry standard so that there are less hoops to jump through with insurance billing and to create better access to Healthcare for patients.
