  2. QUESTION: Who Gets notified about credentialing updates?

    ANSWER: It depends on mainly two items. One is your CAQH credentialing contact for a particular location. The second is knowing what credentialing contact information was submitted on the application that was submitted to the insurance credentialing department. Our policy is to update both places so that if credentialing questions or corrections are needed we will get notified so that you do not have to worry about micromanaging your inbox for time sensitive information like this. If someone does changes the credentialing contact information in CAQH it will definitely delay the credentialing application process and time line.
